Drawing has been my constant and lifelong friend. The simple tools of pencils and paper allow me to capture the wonder of the world around me. I look for the details that make my subjects unique, and I sympathetically depict the beauty and spirit of everything I draw.

My drawings explore how common objects, viewed in part, and observed in atypical perspectives, can arouse unexpected responses connecting to personal memories and events. My goal is to create images that spark conversation and storytelling, providing the viewer the opportunity to share parts of themselves with others as they view these works.

I studied privately as a teenager in Metuchen, NJ. I have attended classes at Perkins Center for the Arts in Moorestown, NJ, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia, PA and at the Midland Center for The Arts in Midland, Michigan.
